The National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) is a 501-c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding the availability of well-operated, ethical and supportive recovery housing. We have developed the most widely referenced national standard for the operation of recovery residences. We work with and support 30 state affiliate organizations. Research has shown that individuals with substance use disorder who utilize recovery residences demonstrate a greater chance of achieving long-term recovery than those who do not live in a recovery oriented environment.
